Henry A. Thompson is another seasoned litigator at Keithley Law, PLLC. Henry has over a decade of experience practicing law in the District of Columbia and in Virginia. Henry is experienced with contract, anti-trust, and family law matters.
Henry combines energetic zeal with the cool, collected wisdom and forethought of a life-long practitioner. Henry’s outstanding courtroom presence allows him to present even difficult and complex cases with grace and composure. While Henry makes practicing law look easy, make no mistake: this is one attorney who out-prepares his opponents, often working past the sun, to ensure that the sun will rise on his client’s case.
Professional Experience
Before coming to Keithley Law, PLLC, Henry started his career at a big law firm. After practicing there for six years, Henry went on as a solo attorney. Practicing for four years as a sole practitioner, Henry has represented clients in contract disputes, divorce and custody matters, and employment litigation. Henry is also qualified as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Circuit Court of Alexandria.
Education
Henry earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2003. He was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Additionally, Henry was and remains an active member of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. For law school, Henry attended Howard University School of Law. Graduating in 2006, Henry was the Senior Articles Editor for the Howard Law Journal.
Personal Life
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Henry currently resides in the Washington, D.C. suburbs with his wife and former law school classmate, Lauren, and their two children.
